Who We Are
Elimisha means to ‘teach knowledge’
Elimisha is a non- income generating initiative that was born out of the dire need in our communities to provide a hopeful future for academically performing but otherwise underprivileged students. Through this, we are fulfilling SDG number 4 which is quality education.
Elimisha is a programme that aims to provide a beacon of hope for underprivileged students through financial and moral support and provide them with equal life changing opportunities for their education. The programme intends to walk the students through their four – year journey while providing integrative support for comprehensive growth.
What We Do
Through Elimisha Watoto, we shall provide a four- year scholarship support at national level for identified beneficiaries aged between 13 and 17 years, including their tuition fees, school necessities such as uniform and miscellaneous costs such as transport and pocket money.
In addition, we shall provide capacity building initiatives for the students to ensure that they are equipped with critical life skills to set them at par with their counterparts in school. This includes select finishing school courses such as leadership development and time management. Through their four-year journeys, our beneficiaries will be attached to mentors who will closely monitor their academic and personal development progress, offer appropriate advice and connect them to necessary forums like tertiary scholarships and extracurricular activities, and foster their growth. At the end of the day, we want holistic students who are ready to conquer the world despite their previous circumstances, and fill the shoes of the future leaders of this world.

Besides providing financial support, the Foundation will offer mentorship to beneficiaries to realize good personal and social development.
